NMMT purchased 2 Volvo 8400 Hybrid Buses, out of which 2 can be seen onraod on routes 123, 125, 105 at selective hours only .....

These Hybrid Buses run on Electric till 20 kmph and possible when Battery Charges also. In short, it reduces the fuel consumption to about 35%. Cities been filled of traffics, Hybrid buses helps in Less Fuel Consumption & Less Pollution Also.

Start / Stop of Engine is on Diesel only.

The Volvo D5F Engine is fitted at the rear inside of the buses.
